- Do you have a concept of saving?
- Do you have any money saved up already?
- What do you like to splurge on?
- What splurge would you never give up?
- Who will be in charge of paying the bills?
- Do you have any debt?
- Would we have a joint bank account, or would we keep everything separate?
- Do you agree on having an equal say on how you use our money as a couple? Consider yourselves buying a house, making investments, paying for childcare, holidays, etc… Will this be equal no matter who earns more?
- How much do you want to put aside for emergencies?
- How did your parents handle money? Did they ever discuss it with you?
- What do you think is worth spending money on in a home? Consider rent, groceries, home décor, home essentials.
- What happens if you want children, but cannot conceive? How much would you be willing to spend on fertility treatment or adoption?
